MU 'stars' dance the night away for Camp Quality fundraiser
by Joe Pecoraro, posted April 26, 2010 Professors and students met at Stotler Lounge in the student union for two reasons: To dance and to raise money for charity.
The Student Union Programming Board put together “Dancing with the Stars if Mizzou” in efforts to raise money for Camp Quality, a summer camp in Kansas City for children with cancer.
The event consisted of eight contestants divided into four pairs. The group of dancers included: Jen Schlosser, David Mueller, Tim Evans, Charlene Delgado, Jenn Reeves, Tristan Hunnewell, Anna Small and Jason Vance. Tim Waid hosted the event. By the end of the night $457 was raised, with 100 percent of the profits all going to Camp Quality.
