The King’s Daughters Holiday Festival has been held in Columbia for 22 years. Combining charity work for the Dental Aid Program with lots of shopping, local King’s Daughters circles host a holiday shopping weekend each year around the beginning of November. This year’s event had more than two hundred vendors, many of whom are veterans of the event. Shopper’s also tend to attend the event year after year, sometimes even three generations of a family will attend this fun-filled holiday shopping weekend. This year's event attracted more than 2,000 holiday shoppers.
