On the evening of Sept. 20, Jesse Hall Auditorium echoed with the sounds of the Pepto Bismal jingle, Journey’s song “Don’t Stop Believin’” and lines from the movie “The Hangover.” Laughter rose in between as students and staff, mainly from the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR), watched their peers perform for CAFNR Week’s annual Skit Night. |

Trowbridge Livestock Arena was the site of the annual washers tournament as a part of CAFNR week. The event, sponsored by the Independent Aggies, was a single elimination tournament featuring 32 teams on Sept. 21, 2010. |

On Thursday, Sept. 23, CAFNR students gathered at the Snorty Horse Saloon to celebrate CAFNR Week coming to a close. Throughout the week students competed in events against students in other clubs within CAFNR. Among these activities were: Comedy Night, mud volleyball, barbecues, Road Rally, and washers. The more students each club had participating, the more points the club received. |

The view outside Memorial Union on Monday Sept. 20 was something that doesn’t always appear on the University of Missouri campus. A Case IH tractor steered the students in the direction of the Lil’ Ag Expo on Lowry Mall where several CAFNR organizations lined a section of the mall to educate students about the importance of agriculture. |

The College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources will host its first Internship Fair Sept. 22, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. in the Life Sciences Atrium. Last year, there was a similar event, but it was in the form of an Internship Panel. |

The CAFNR Week mud volleyball tournament was held on Friday, Sept. 17 at Trowbridge Arena. More than one hundred people came out to splash around in the mud and get a little dirty. |

As CAFNR Week comes to a close, students are invited to Snorty Horse on Thursday, Sept. 23. The event will be kicked off at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased ahead of time outside of 2-64 in the Agriculture Building. There will be no ticket purchases at the door. |

This year the CAFNR week steering committee is sponsoring Lil’ Ag Expo on Lowry Mall. The expo is an educational event to address agriculture related issues as well as promotes CAFNR organizations. |

The Independent Aggies will be sponsoring Mud Volleyball at Trowbridge Livestock Center for CAFNR Week. The event will be held Friday, Sept. 17, from 4 p.m. to midnight. In addition, the Ag Economics Club is hosting a barbecue at the event. Players can participate in this event through a club or make their own team. Teams must consist of six people with a minimum of two women. There is a $10 registration fee. |
