Collegiate Cattlewomen getting fired up for grill-off

The
Mizzou Collegiate Cattlewomen are gearing up for their annual
grill-off to be held on Sept. 25. According to the MCC President,
Katie Allen, some changes have been made in order to increase
participation.
Allen
said that the members were trying to get sponsors to provide
the beef for the event to try to increase entries, but the
MCC found that most competitors liked to prepare their meat
in advance or have a special cut. The MCC decided not to provide
the meat for entrants.
Allen
said that the MCC will be charging $5 per entry, as they always
have, for a 100 percent jackpot given to the winner. "We
have made a lot of changes that I hope will encourage more
teams to attend. It should be a really great times" said
Allen.
