Sigma Alpha calendar highlights some of 'CAFNR's Cuties'

"I love it; I can't wait to put it on my wall," Hilary Holeman, an agricultural education major, said in relation to the release of the 2006 CAFNR Cuties Calendar.

In a recent fundraiser, Sigma Alpha has released a CAFNR Cuties calendar, in two versions. One calendar consists of 12 female models and the other 12 male models.

Sorority members, who also took suggestions from the CAFNR student body, nominated the models. The nominated students were contacted and asked if they would like to participate in the calendar. Those who agreed had pictures taken at various spots on campus. The sorority then chose the best 12 pictures and placed them in the calendar.

"The purpose of the calendar is really to show the CAFNR student body that Sigma Alpha is proud to be a part of them," Allyssa Berry, a sophomore agricultural journalism major, said.

Sigma Alpha has high expectations for the success of the calendar.

"We think that the calendar is going to be a great seller because of its tasteful pictures of some of CAFNR's finest students," Jessica Francka, a sophomore agricultural education major, said.

The calendars went on sale Nov. 29 and can be purchased in the Agriculture Building, Animal Science Research Center and Mumford Hall for eight dollars. For more information, contact Ashley Nelson at amn5ff@mizzou.edu.
