Students enjoyed
a night of entertainment at the CAFNR Week kick-off at Déjà Vu
Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005.
“The
purpose of the night was just to give everyone a break in the
week,” Scott Jackson, senior agribusiness management
major and co-coordinator of the event said. “I hope that
it sets a good tone for the rest of the week”
People
at the event enjoyed the comedic styles of Tim Gaither and headliner
Greg Morton. As they told life stories, joked with the audience
members and recited two minute versions of popular movies, the
audience was laughing the night away.
“It
is an excellent place to meet other CAFNR students while having
a real good time,” Kate Probert, freshman animal science
major said.
This
is just the first of many events in CAFNR Week, where students
are encouraged to get involved.
“As a
new student at CAFNR, I am eager to attend the various events
throughout CAFNR week. I am confident that this will be a great
opportunity to get involved,” Amanda Davenport,
freshman agricultural education major said.
