A
Truly Motivated CAFNR Week
By Charles
Minnick
Rhett Laubach
encouraged and motivated CAFNR students Tuesday night at Monsanto
Auditorium as part of CAFNR week. He spoke to a small crowd of
about 100 on the ideas of “personal leadership intelligence”.
He emphasized the importance of setting goals and a course of
action to achieve them right now. He spoke about the importance
of leadership, communication skills, people skills, and the traits
of a motivated person.
He had an uncanny ability to keep the students in the presentation,
despite the difficult task he was charged with, getting a message
across to college students on a Tuesday night. Every time students
seemed to drift off he would get them up on their feet to do activities
or re-energize them with some new point.
Laubach’s speech was not only insightful, but inspiring.
Hopefully it will inspire this year’s students to become
better students and professionals.
