RAMS 2004
Jamie Reading, Corner Post Staff

March 5, 2004 - MU raised $64,000 for RAMS during the month of February. Most of the money raised comes from selling promotional packs such as Have-a-Meal ticket and the Rock-It tickets.

"In the past eight years, RAMS has been raising substantially more money each year" Ryan Odneal, RAMS co-director, said.

RAMS is the largest campus-wide philanthropy and the philanthropy that raises the most money for a single cause. The winner with the most overall points was Farmhouse, with Alpha Chi Omega/Pi Beta Phi coming in at Second place. Kappa Alpha Theta placed third.

The Rock-It lip sync and dance competition alone made about $9,000 through ticket sales.

"The Rock-It event usually has the best support from the student body because it brings many of the members from all the organizations to cheer and support their group" Odneal said. "Many students attend the Rock-It event because it is a comical, entertaining, and informal event where students can relax and have fun."
