April 5, 2004 - So what's the construction on the corner of Rollins and College Avenue all about? Well it's the new Life Sciences Center, and it's undergoing its final touches this spring. The 124,000 net square foot building is a $60 million dollar project that made head way on December 17, 2001. The new facility will offer up-to-date features which will provide an advantage to the following departments: " Agriculture, Food and
Natural Resources "The construction of the Life Sciences Center is on schedule," Dr. Michael Chippendale said. "May 28 is the target date for the completion of construction and August is the target month for occupancy. The goal is to have the three teaching labs in the LSC ready for use fall semester 2004."
