CAFNR Students Compete in "Stick Horse Rodeo"

- The Collegiate Horseman's Association hosted a "Stick Horse
Rodeo" Thursday night at the Trowbridge Livestock Arena.
The event was part of Ag Week 2002.
Seventeen clubs
from the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources participated
in five different competitions: Hay Bale Tossing, Three-Legged
Racing, Stick Horse Barrel Racing, Wheelbarrow Racing and Cider
Chugging.

Most people wouldn't know what to do with a
broom, a haybale, a gallon of apple cidar and a highway
road cone. The Independent Aggies
used these items and some tricky maneuvering
to win first place in the Stickhorse Rodeo.

In each event,
first place was worth 15 points, second place was worth 10 points
and third place was worth five points.

Cider Chug:
