Mizzou Collegiate Cattlewomen photo contest/calendar fundraiser

The Mizzou Collegiate Cattlewomen chapter is working to compile a 2005 calendar for the first time.

In order to get pictures to put in the calendar, the MCC sponsored a photo contest. Any member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association, excluding MCC, could participate in the photo contest. Photos to be included will have one common theme—agriculture.

“The photos are of agriculture scenes including tractors, cattle, barns, etc.,” MCC President Lesley Snodgrass said.

Once the calendars are compiled and produced, they will be sold as a fundraiser for the MCC.

“The money will be used towards educational and promotional events Mizzou Collegiate Cattlewomen participates in or sponsors,” Snodgrass said.

The calendars will be available for the Annual Cattlemen’s Convention in December. The club will then sell them throughout the 2005 year.

Photo contest winners will be announced in the next few weeks.
