Ag

Natalie Scherer, reporter, CAFNR Corner Post
September 23, 2003-Twelve teams from the CAFNR came out and participated in the
annual volleyball tournament. The winners were third place, Ag Rho 2, second
place, Ag Week Steering Committee, and first place, Ag Rho 1. For the second
consecutive year, Ag Rho has won the tournament.
"This is a tradition in the Ag School. Each year the amount of teams seems to
get larger, so I think that everyone has a great time playing. Hopefully this
year, we will have an even bigger turnout than last year!" Stacey Werr, Junior,
Student Council Student Involvement Committee Chair.
The teams were Ag Rho1 and Ag Rho 2, Collegiate Cattle Women, GDI 1 and GDI 2,
Ag Learning Community, Sigma Alpha, FFA Alumni, Ag Week Steering Committee, ACT,

The CAFNR student council was asked to sponsor the tournament by the Ag Week
steering committee. An entry fee of $30 per team was charged. The entry fee charged
goes toward a cash prize to the top 3 teams and to the cost of renting the Recreation
Center where the tournament was held.
